Inspiring Learning With Aloha
About Me

Aloha! My name is Candace Goregaoker (aka "Mrs. G"), and I’m so excited to be a part of your child’s learning journey!
I live in Kihei with my husband and our three school-age keiki. Teaching has always been my passion. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching, and for over 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade in public and private schools across California, Washington, and now beautiful Hawaiʻi.
After years of teaching young learners, I’ve seen how much children thrive when home and school work hand in hand. That’s what inspired me to create Aloha Learners — a space where children receive personalized support, parents feel empowered, and learning is rooted in the spirit of Aloha. By bridging both worlds, we nurture academic growth, emotional well-being, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
My goal is simple: to help every child feel confident, capable, and excited to learn every day.
My Teaching Philosophy
Every child deserves to feel seen, capable, and confident. I use proven, individualized teaching methods and positive reinforcement to help each learner reach milestones at their own pace. I celebrate progress, big or small, and encourage children to show up each day ready to shine.
Mission Statement
To nurture confident, capable, and curious learners through individualized instruction and the spirit of aloha.
